本作は、私立菊玲学園高等学校に雇われた日本史担当の非常勤講師・遠藤一誠が主人公の学園ドラマ。びしょびしょで登校する、ほかの授業を受けている生徒を連れ出してマイタケ狩りに行く、理科室の人体模型を改造してボクシングの練習用具にするなど、空気が読めず教師らしいことを一切しない彼が、悩みをこじらせた人々を「なぜ、今そこに？」という場所に誘う様子が描かれる。。When a fracking environmental accident rips apart the earth's crust, the resulting hole lets out prehistoric sharks from underground.
